I've always been different, no matter where I find myself, I never quite fit in. This is not something I do intentionally, it's just how it's always been.

At school I was never part of a crowd, for the most part I had a handful of close friends and that was it. Even after school, once I'd started Missing Link, I always struggled to understand my place.

For much of my adult life I considered myself broken I simply couldn't understand why I don't play well with others. Until I realised that wasn't the case.

I'm not broken, I'm one of the X-Men!

Being different is not a curse, it's my mutant power. It's what makes me good at what I do, and happy about who I am. So sure, I'll probably never fit in, however I think that's okay.

Fitting in is highly overrated. It's a mutant power in and of itself, but while invisibility may be great in theory, it's just not for me.

The Invisibles spend their life trying to get you to join them, but fight it. Embrace your own mutant power.

If you do, like me you'll never quite fit in, however as it happens standing out ain't half bad.

Being different isn't an excuse, it's a call-to-fucking-action. Act accordingly.

All hail the mutants...!
